All I Want for Christmas

I was out feeding Playboy tonight and we had a nice little chat.  first I had to tell him how he hurt my feelings running away from me.  It took my over 5 minutes to attempt to catch him (brat) and then I gave up and started treating Rocky's sore foot.  I guess he felt I needed to take care of his herd before he could relax and eat!

As I was sitting there talking to him, I told him about the rain that is supposed to come tonight.  After a big sigh, he confided in me that he would really like a shelter for Christmas.  He is getting tired of the rain.  No one else cares about it.  The rest of the gang got their Christmas wish and have grass to eat!  I'm hoping that Dana, Sam, and Nick will be Playboy's Santa Surprise!

Rocky Update:  He is still very sore.  Our farrier, Jeff Smith, is coming out tomorrow to find the abcess that has obviously developed.  He is also bringing his big magnet, so that I can find the other bazillion nails that are out in  the field!  Dr. Craig Niblett is Rocky's new best friend.  He got us some bute and Prevocox (?) for some pain and inflamation relief.  If he is not better by Thursday, Dr Niblett will be coming to meet his new clients!
