Making Friends

On this yucky, cold, wet Super Bowl Sunday, it was time to make the first face to face introductions to our new horse Weston.

He came with all his vaccinations and Weston seemed healthy with no discharges or any other indication of viral infections (sometimes induced by the stress of moving to a new home) after being here for 3 days.  He has been interested in making new friends and was reported to have been non-dominant at his old home.  He has also not had a pasture mate for 2 years.  All these factors went into  the decision making process of who to introduce him to first.
