Whew, it was hot out there today and it's only the second day of Spring!  Now mind you, I am not complaining!  I just didn't expect it to be so hot!

We had fun in Matt's class today.  He had a great ride on Avalon.  In fact, he chose Avalon.  That was surprising since he had the option of riding his favorite horse, Rocky!  We went on an Easter egg hunt and found all of the eggs.  To get the eggs he found he had to get Avalon across the bridge. Matt succeeded, but Avalon stalled! They stayed like this long enough for Avalon to fall asleep!
I got the grass on the trails cut and watered the rose bushes (yes, I am very proud of myself on that one!) so the girls could go on a trail ride on the back 40 trail so that we could stay in the shade. It is so fun to watch confidence blossoming in these 2 girls that had their confidence stripped away!  They are not the same girls that came to the ranch 6 months ago!
