It rained last night... A LOT! We probably got 6" of rain. I should have brought the horses over to the high side, but I didn't. I sure hope that they are ok! I'm sure that they are! Tomorrow I will get over to the west campus and will give them a little extra loving! We definitely need a shelter on the east campus field so that they can be over here next time it rains! We are up and running. We have had 2 very sucessful lessons. Rocky is making Matt work for it, but Matt is stepping up to the challenge. 2 weeks of riding with no saddle and you can see such a difference in Matt's confidence! He pretty much thinks that I am a crazy lady when I ask him to go get Rocky with no help, but I give it 2 more weeks and he will be doing it! And anyone who knows me, knows that he is right!
With one training under our belt, we are able to schedule enought volunteers to do a semi-private lesson. that will start in Feb. I am excited to start that lesson. I have so much fun when I am in the areana and planning and scheming what challenges I can invent! It was fun tonight to go out to dinner and be recognized from the website. facebook page! Thanks Birdie for following Healing with Horses Ranch! |
