A lesson in patience!

It's been a while since I made an entry here.  So the land saga continues.  We have decided on "the land" and make an offer.  After very little negotiations we sign a contract and the bank says we can do a fast closing.  Haa!  I say.  we were supposed to close on or before the 14th and here it is the 19th and we still have not closed.  The survey needed to be re-done and the appraiser needed the survey to finish the appraisal.  Once that is complete, the bank needs to get all of there paperwork together.  I know it will happen, but it is not happening according to my schedule.
Saturday, the 17th, we went a picked up the pipe for the pipe fencing.  The plan was to unload it on the property, but we don't own the land yet, so there it sits on the trailer waiting to get unloaded.

We had a meet and greet on Saturday the 17th in the afternoon and fortunately the owner said we could still have it out on the property.  Signs...remember those?  It rained right at the time that we were getting together.  It hasn't rained in 3 months and yet it rained on Saturday.  It was beautiful and cool and even a bit muddy.  Thank you for raining!  The owner was there and he let us use the building so we even had shelter from the rain!  I will blog more about the meet and greet tomorrow!

Our volunteer coordinator got a group from Dell to come out to clean up the property.  Scheduled for this Friday, I had to postpone them, because we don't own the land yet!  ARGHHHH!

This has been a lesson in patience!  It will all happen at the right time and I have to remeber to just keep going with the flow, as that is the real Plan!
