What a great, productive day today was thanks to all of our great volunteers. I walk ed over 21,000 steps today or about 9.5 miles!
I think tht we can assume that Ashley walked at least 15,000 steps teaching 3 1.5 hour lessons.
We also had Katie and AJ in in lessons for the same, so that is another 15,000 steps.
Keith and Michael got the arena fixed and finished we'll be stingy there and say that they each walked 2000 steps.
Katie learned how to lunge Honey, horse but had to do a lot of running to keep her going. I did say that she was learning how to lunge, so let's give her another 5000 steps.
Mary came out to sniff a ;) and ended up grooming 2 horses and even lunged Weston at the walk for a few minutes. We'll give her 1000 steps.
Catherine came out and groomed Weston, did a little t-Touch and stretching with him and then learned how to feed. She had to have at least 5000 steps in 3 hours of volunteering.
Patty and Margeret came out and learned how to feed. Let's give them each 4000 steps.
So how many steps does it take to keep healing with Horses ranch running like a well oiled machine? Only 72,000 steps. That's a lot of walking. I obviously can't do it by myself. Our volunteers are the BEST! Thank you all for making Joey and Anna, and Sofia, and Anna and all of our other clients smile!
