by Patty As I went back to feed the horses tonight, I couldn't help but marvel at how green it is suddenly. The trees are all starting to get their Spring leaves. I shouldn't say all as it is getting obvious which trees are dead. II's time to start makring the trees tat are dead so that we can start cutting them down and it's time to start grass cutting. Rocky is doing well and is back out with the herd. We need to keep his food wet to avoid his choking ever again. It is a small price to pay. He is done Avalon has been recuperating from a scratch on her eye. she is so patient while getting her drops and antibiotic ointment in her eye. We often tlk abou how honest horses are and she demonstrates that so clearly. For the past few months it haas been horible to get a bridle on her. I looked for a larger bit thinking that maybe that was the problem. Sure enough, we changed out the bit and the second time we put the bridle on her, she dropped her head and took it willingly! Amazing! Once again I have been taught the necessity of listening!
