So rain has made me doubt. We need so much rain, but why now?
I am sitting here at the Ranch waiting for Manville Water to come to put the water meter in. I have been waiting for 2 months for this day. I am wondering if it will happen today since it rained so much this weekend. I can't bring the horses here until we get water onto the property and it is frustrating me.
The rain has alos caused major issues with the driveway. Over the weekend, John got the corvette stuck in the mud. It was pretty comical watching the two of us work on getting it unstuck. Go figure, I was bossy and had to take the lead. For those of you who don't know me will question that. For those of you who do know me, will just laugh. Good thing John knows me and could laugh! We will definitely need to get gravel on the driveway before classes begin in a month!
The creek is also an issue with all of the rain. I've got amazing people leading this and the creek crossing will be unbeleivable when it is done. This I have faith in. But it rained and we were supposed to work on it today. It is so muddy and slippery that I don't think that it will happen. Fingers are crossed though.
It also seems like every time I schedule tree mulching, it rains! It will get done, but I wanted it done 2 weeks ago. Breathe Patty! It will be OK! I just so want to get the horses down here getting used to everything so that we can start classes as scheduled! If anyone know of anyone that needs Therapeutic Riding, I am officially accepting applications to start classes January 15th (unless it rains :} )!
