Dash retired from the mounted patrol because he was not a fan of being out on 6th Street every weekend (can you blame him!?) He definitely prefers the calm environment of a therapy barn, and is his happiest when his rider tells him out loud what to do! For example, he’d rather you ask him to trot with your words than by squeezing your legs. He's also currently working on learning “left” and “right” commands with our Equine Coordinator.
