Frida's love for horses began at the age of six when she started riding lessons in her hometown in Sweden. From the moment she sat in the saddle, she was hooked. After moving to Austin, Frida sought a place where she could combine her passion for horses with her desire to give back to the community. That search led her to Healing with Horses Ranch, where she found a shared love for equine care and the positive impact horses can have on people’s lives. She has now been a volunteer at the Ranch since early 2023 and became a member of the board in 2024. Frida was elected Board President in 2025. As a member of the board, Frida's primary focus is on our equines, ensuring the well-being of every equine in our program.
