Michael Starr, LCSW, RPT
Michael is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning (ESMHL) who works with our equine-assisted psychotherapy clients. Michael has loved horses since childhood and was thrilled to join the herd at Healing with Horses in 2022. She works with children, teens, and adults, and may be a good fit for your family if you or your child is experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, or loss. She also specializes in working with youth showing behavioral difficulties at home or school, those who have experienced a traumatic or difficult event, and youth or families experiencing difficulty adjusting to a life change. When she’s not seeing clients, Michael loves singing, swimming, hanging with her cats, or playing with her rambunctious toddler.
