The Hero’s Journey: An Equine-Assisted Self Discovery Workshop
Friday, May 10 from 10am – 4pm CST
at Healing with Horses Ranch
Utilizing Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey framework, attendees will discover and identify guides, helpers, tricksters, and other archetypes that play a role in their life’s journey. The goal of this workshop is to discover the universal story inherent in our human experience; the Hero’s Journey provides fertile terrain for mapping your unique experience. You will come away from this workshop with greater ease in traversing life’s difficult moments and leave with a deeper understanding of the patterns in your life with new life navigation skills.

Looking to become certified as an ESMHL? Healing with Horses Ranch will host a PATH International Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning Workshop and Skills Test.
A PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning ensures the safety and well-being of the equine participating in mental health or equine-assisted learning sessions and serves as the equine expert during equine-human interactions. The ESMHL works alongside a mental health professional or educator in typically unmounted activities.

Healing with Horses Ranch, a PATH Intl. Premier Riding Center, offers an instructor-in-training program to individuals looking to become a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. Under supervision by Advanced Instructor and Healing with Horses Founder, Patty D’Andrea, our trainees receive mentorship, hands-on learning, and coaching through the PATH certification process.
